Embracing dolphins

We were very fortunate to make friends with Julie who trained the dolphins at Dolphin Quest, a dolphin encounter venture at the beautiful Kahala hotel near Diamond Head. One morning we found ourselves in the water with the two young boys Hoku (star) and Nainoa (magic), playing and splashing and hugging and kissing. It filled our hearts with joy to feel the smooth skin of these dolphins, to see them open up to us. When they look at you it feels like they are connecting, they want to play with you, be their friend. A dolphin is the animal that makes even the darkest soul smile…
