NEW YEAR

For New Year”s eve we went to the Marsden Marina for the big New Year’s concert. We parked the van and had a nice cooking session with cool life music in the background.

Around 10 p.m. they launched the first big fireworks over the marina at full moon. We are full of gratefulness for the last year. We are deeply thankful for

It feels like this journey of love leads us back to ourselves.  Not to whom we may wanted to be, but to who we are.  It is a lot about discovering our own destiny – not an arbitrary one – and to live it out wholly and resolutely. Following our passions rewards us every day with  little discoveries, that touch our souls and give us the feeling of  completion.

When the kids fell asleep, we could share our dreams and memories while enjoying the luxury of a bottle of delicious champagne until the new year was initiated with a canon boom.

In the morning we had coffee at Dave’s place, mainly to become owners of one of Decay’s custom made boards.
On top Sue and Dave gave us enough insights for a year long journey around the island to the greatest kiting spots, hidden natural highlights and a handful of phone numbers of friendly Kiwi kite surfers.
